High Command - Host Policy

On this page I will tell you the rules my host depends on. Because I know what most people think about sites like this I will try to keep it short ;-) :

With joining my host you accept the following terms. If you don not agree to these terms please don't use this site.
I reserve the right, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of this site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

This is a human host
"What does this mean?" you will ask yourself.
Well, I have a real life: A wife, 2 children, friends, a job I have to take care about, my PC is standing in my living room and is not working or online the whole day. This means, I'm not able to proceed the file, the question, the critics or anything else you submit in realtime. Sometimes I'm late, a hostrun can be delayed because of personal reasons or something may not work because of thousand other things.
You will not find a great variety of downloads, graphics, guides, the latest java scripts or anything of these things at my site. This site is what it's all about: The game.
If you can accept that: Welcome, I'm happy you found me!
If this is not the way you want your belongings to be handled: I accept that. Leave in peace and find a place that fits better to your wishes.


Gamelimit and gamequit

You can join as many games as you want to.
I'm not counting the games you are signed in, but the games you sign out.
You are allowed to leave 15 running games you are assigned to. If you left more than 15 games, you will be banned from my host.
If you have reached a first dropout rate of 10 games, you can only sign in to new games till a limit of 15 is reached.*
Example: You dropped out of 10 games, you still play in 3 games then you can join 2 more games: 10 (dropped) + 3 (playing) + 2 (new) = 15.
Leaving a game because your race is KIA is not counted as a dropout, but you have to tell the host about it.
If you miss 5 turns in a row you're out of the game. You'll get a warning message before this happens. This will be classified as leaving.
For every 5 regular finished games your dropouts will be reduced by 1.*

Number of races you can play in a game
You can only play one race in each game. Exceptions can be e.g. holiday-replacement for your ally or a game I do exspecially offer playing multiple races.


Number of accounts and registrations
One player - one account - one registration number.
You are not allowed to have more than 1 account at my host.
You are not allowed to use more than 1 registration number at my host.
Maybe there are many players with honest and true arguments but I'm not able to verify that, so again: 1 player - 1 account - 1 reg. code.
If you get caught breaking this rule, you will be banned from my host.


Races not played by human players
If no human player is found for a race or a human player quits a race I will let the computer-player "Spacelord" do the job.


Game ends because of lack of human players
If there are only 3 human players left in a game I will end it (but maybe do a players request before).


Hostversion update
If there's a new hostversion released I will update the files.


Host delayed by your request

If you want the due host to be delayed you must ask the other players of the game if they agree. If 90% of the players agree, I will delay the host as long as the game members deceided to accept the break.
If a player does not answer to a request it will be counted as "Break accepted".
At any time the host is authorized to accept delay requests without asking the game members.


Flaming and spaming
Flaming or spaming will not be accepted. First time you will be taken out of the game, second time you'll be banned from this host.
This does also and exspecially include sending mails or any informations containing porn, rassism or violence.


Cheating
If you are cheating you will be banned from this host.


No warranty or claims
None of the High Command stuff, files or services can be held responsible for any problems that arise through the use or lack of use of High Command.
All of High Command's services and files are provided "as is" and you use them your own risk.
No claims, demands, pretensions or titles arise through the use or lack of use of High Commands hosting service or any of its offered files.
I do not warrant that the functions contained in the materials on this site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or its files are free of viruses or other harmful components.
You assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.


No commercial interests
This hosting service is not offered to follow any commercial interests of the person offering the service. This site does follow completely private and non-commercial interests.
